APPRECIATE YC DAY!

was a special day, for all of us... it's (everyone scream:) Appreciate YC  Day!!

being the lovely, appreciative & giving lot that we are, we decided to love, appreciate & give to our dear YC - Esther Chee. 

Schemes were planned and executed, manpower was exercised weeks before d day. We had it all worked out. During the morning service, most of us were in our beige/purple sunday best. (even our dear YM who had to lead worship that day, wore his nicely ironed beige shirt). Why these colours, you asked? That's becoz; ahem..hem..

PURPLE's Mingfei's fav colour -> so says his bro (how could we forget our talented, funny & nice ex-yc) & indeed, it was really quite a sight to see most of us in the same colour... hehe.. 

Everyone kept his/her cool, we pretended that it was like any other sunday. And after the morning prayer, dear Esther went to give us our weekly dosage of announcement. Straight after that, bro Derek took over. In her least expectancy, we presented to Esther our handmade gifts:

last but not the least, we had (k)nigel V to present the flowers to esther

To end the day on a sweet note, everyone adjourned to have our treat: choco marshmellows fudge!!! yummy! Professionally prepared by trina, our celebrity chef in the making. Awesome...

It was so hard to resist that even the adults came to steal from us. But of coz, being the mature & generous lot that we are, we shared with them :)
